Reconstitution We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1 % BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.

Stability & Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Background CCL3L1, also named LD78-beta, is belonging to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family and it is encoded by the CCL3L1 gene in humans. This protein binds to several chemokine receptors including chemokine binding protein 2 (CCBP2 or D6) and chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 5 (CCR5). It is an inhibitor of HIV-1-infection and chemotactic for lymphocytes and monocytes. Recombinant human LD78β is a 7.7 kDa protein containing 70 amino acid residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.
